Connections & development

The room matters. So does what happens next.

Networking, hospitality, exhibitions and practical business support — the parts of the year that keep relationships going between one awards night and the next.

What we run

Four kinds of gathering

Dates for the wider programme are announced through the year. Tell us what you are interested in and we will let you know first.

01

Networking

Regular evenings built around actually meeting people, not collecting business cards.

02

Hospitality

Hosted occasions where clients, partners and teams can be brought together properly.

03

Exhibitions

Showcase opportunities for businesses to put their work in front of the people around them.

04

The Awards

The centrepiece of the year — a full ceremony celebrating achievement across the community.

Development

Recognition is more useful when something follows it

Being shortlisted or winning gives an organisation a moment of attention. What we care about is whether anything comes of it — a new partnership, a first hire, a contract that would not otherwise have landed.

Our workshops and business support sessions exist to help with that: practical, locally delivered, and aimed at the organisations we already work alongside through the Awards and the magazine.

Workshops

Practical sessions on the things smaller organisations actually get stuck on.

Introductions

Connecting businesses, charities and community groups who ought to know each other.

Visibility

Editorial support through our publishing to get the story in front of people.

Partnerships

Longer-term working relationships across the awards, events and publishing.
